Reservation Policy

TERMS AND POLICIES

 When making your reservation at the Morfeas Hotel, it is important to note that the descriptions of the room types, the photos for each room and area of the Hotel, the facilities and services that apply and are included in your stay are those listed on the website us. In case you make your reservation through an external source and the descriptions of the above or the services included in your stay differ from the data you will find on our site, the responsibility for any inaccuracy of information lies with the respective source that made the reservation and not the Hotel .

To make a reservation at our Hotel, you will need to provide us with some necessary personal data so that upon your arrival the identity can be made based on the information you will present at the reception. For this reason it is important that the personal details of the reservation concern the person who will be staying at the Hotel, who must be over 18 years old. In the event that you make a reservation for a third party and the information you provide concerns a person who will not be at the Hotel at check-in, it will be necessary to inform us in writing of the information of the person who is expected to stay under the specific reservation name.

The personal data, including the contact details, that you will provide during your reservation must be accurate and real, and in the event of a change, you are requested to inform them so that we can contact you for anything needed regarding your reservation and for information about the terms and policies of the Hotel that apply to your reservation. If the information you provided is not accurate and as a result it is not possible to contact you, the Hotel is not responsible for not informing you about regulations and policies that may affect the validity of your reservation or its possible loss due to non-compliance you with actions that may be required to maintain the reservation.

A reservation is only valid if its confirmation is received from the Hotel which will state the definitive commitment of the room offered and describe the exact dates, room type, number of occupants, accommodation price and payment and cancellation policies. An offer of accommodation or a temporary reservation of dates is not a reservation unless it is accompanied by an express reference to a reservation of the room.

In the event that on your part there is a difference from the original reservation information for which you received a relevant confirmation (different arrival / departure dates, different number of occupants in the room), you have the obligation to inform the Hotel in time so that it can proceed with the necessary modifications – if it is possible and amendments to your booking are permitted under the cancellation policies in effect. The Hotel is not obliged to confirm any change of dates if there is no availability to do so or if the booking policies do not allow it. Also, the Hotel reserves the right to refuse to provide accommodation services if the number of people who will arrive at the Hotel is greater than the stated number of people in the reservation that was confirmed during our communication and exceeds the stated maximum capacity of the room that concerns the confirmed reservation. Exceptions are children up to 3 years old who are served in a cot and are not charged as an extra person. Children over the age of 3 are considered as an extra person.

Failure to comply with the Hotel’s policies that you received in writing regarding the pre-confirmation deposit or the payment of your reservation within the stipulated period, may result in the cancellation of the reservation without any obligation to notify the Hotel.

Upon your departure from the Hotel, you must proceed to pay any additional charges that have arisen based on the price list found in your room from consumption in the room mini bar, the Hotel’s bar and snack bar, transfer services upon departure or your arrival , laundry/ironing services, as well as the accommodation tax (€0.50 per room per night).

The check-in time on the day of your arrival is after 14:00 (July, August, holidays and in special cases it is after 15:00) and the check-out time on your departure is until 12:00.

Possibility of check in earlier than 15:00 or check out later than 12:00 can only be done after confirmation from the reception of the Hotel and based on availability. In the above cases, an additional charge may apply.

In case of departure from the room later than the specified time, the Hotel has the right to apply an additional charge depending on the time of departure, namely 50% of the cost of the overnight stay for check out until 18:00 and the full amount of the overnight stay for departure after at 18:00.

We inform you that:

– The Hotel allows pets under restrictions and up to 7 kg and one pet per room. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation services and stay in the common areas if you have an unattended pet with you upon your arrival or your presence in the facilities of the unit. Do not allow the pet to be alone in the room.

– Smoking is prohibited in all internal areas of the Hotel. If during your stay it is noticed that you are smoking inside the room, we reserve the right to charge you for the cost of cleaning the room as well as the cost that will arise as a loss for the Hotel from the inability to host guests for the duration of the cleaning from I also left the resulting smells, about €300.

– The consumption of drinks, beverages and food from other shops in common areas is prohibited for reasons of hygiene as well as tax purposes.

– In the event of damage to a room or Property due to intent or negligence, the hotel reserves the right to charge the amount of the damage suffered. In cases where the customer has not paid by credit card, but in cash or in another way, the hotel will demand immediate payment of the amount of the damage suffered by the customer. Lost keys / access cards will be charged a surcharge per key / card which has been lost at a cost of €5 per card!

– In the event that you forget objects, valuables or anything in your possession during your stay at our Hotel, you should immediately inform the Hotel reception for their return, if they have been found. All lost, valuable or other items found on the Hotel premises are kept for one week from the date of their finding. In the event that objects and valuables are recovered, the Hotel is not obliged to contact the guests for relevant information. If there is no notification of the loss of objects, valuables or other property within 7 days of departure, the Hotel will have no obligation to return, while any lost objects, valuables and other things found in our hotel are destroyed after the end of 7 days. If lost, valuables or other items are returned to you, shipping or courier costs are at your expense.

1. All information, which refers to users’ personal data, is protected as confidential. The site has adopted procedures that protect the personal data that our users provide. User data is protected from any unauthorized access or disclosure, loss or misuse and alteration or destruction. The connection of users to the website is secure because digital certification technology is used.

2. Browsing our website and expressing interest in purchasing a service constitutes explicit acceptance and consent by the user of his future information regarding the advertising or promotional actions (marketing) of the present products and services via electronic messages.

The data stored for the information of the participants will always be kept in accordance with Law 2472/1997, Law L. 3471/2006 and the Decisions and Instructions of the Personal Data Protection Authority. Participants reserve the right to request at any time and free of charge the confirmation, modification or deletion of their details and their exclusion from receiving emails, by contacting the organizing company.

3. The website does not disclose the details of the users of the website and the transactions, unless there is a written authorization from them or this is imposed by a court decision or a decision of another public authority. Only authorized employees have access to transaction information whenever necessary. The user can request at any time all the information kept about him, as well as their correction, in case the existence of an error is documented.

4. Access to the site hosting systems (servers) is controlled by a firewall, which allows the use of specific services, while prohibiting access to systems and databases with confidential data and information of the Company.
